The advertisement shows Ranbir Kapoor poking fun at Rohit Shetty’s action-packed movies. Rohit Shetty, who has helmed films such as Ajay Devgn’s ‘Singham’ and Ranveer Singh’s ‘Simmba’, can also be seen in the video.

The video opens with Rohit Shetty giving Ranbir Kapoor a brief of a shot. “Ranbir, ek todu idea hai,” Rohit says before Ranbir declares that Rohit is back with another Shetty blockbuster.

Ranbir Kapoor is then seen in the driver’s seat of a car when he teases the filmmaker, “Shetty blockbuster means minimum 50 cars ka antim sanskaar”. The scene then changes to him firing machine guns.

“Gunde aur gravity dono ko defeat karna koi inse seekhe,” Ranbir Kapoor jokes. The video then shows Ranbir Kapoor being admitted to a hospital, with a broken hand and leg, presenting to the audience the insurance he and Rohit Shetty were advertising.

This is the first time that Ranbir Kapoor and Rohit Shetty have collaborated. It remains to be seen if the short ad transpires into Ranbir Kapoor joining Rohit Shetty’s cop universe.

Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor is currently riding high on the success of Sandeep Reddy Vanga's ‘Animal’. Ranbir is expected to start filming Nitesh Tiwari's ‘Ramayana’ alongside Sai Pallavi. He will also be seen in ‘Animal Park’ and ‘Brahmastra 2’.

On the other hand, Rohit Shetty is busy filming ‘Singham 3’, which stars Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Ranveer Singh, Ajay Devgn, and Kareena Kapoor Khan. The much-anticipated film will be released in theatres in August 2024.
