Not ‘Ramayana’, This Film Marks Sai Pallavi’s Bollywood Debut
Sai Pallavi is all set to make her Bollywood debut ahead of her much-awaited appearance as Sita in the epic mythological film ‘Ramayana’.
As excitement builds around the much-anticipated ‘Ramayana’, the spotlight has also turned towards one of its lead stars, Sai Pallavi, who is all set to make her Bollywood debut. While fans eagerly await her portrayal of Goddess Sita opposite Ranbir Kapoor’s Lord Rama, it’s another film that will mark her official entry into Hindi cinema – ‘Ek Din’, co-starring Aamir Khan’s son, Junaid Khan. Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to X (formerly Twitter) to confirm that ‘Ek Din’ will hit theatres on November 7, 2025.
Check out Taran Adarsh’s tweet below:
#Xclusiv... AAMIR KHAN - MANSOOR KHAN REUNITE: SAI PALLAVI - JUNAID KHAN STARRER 'EK DIN' TO RELEASE ON 7 NOV 2025... #EkDin – which marks the first-ever on-screen pairing of #SaiPallavi and #JunaidKhan – is set for a theatrical release on 7 Nov 2025.

The romantic drama pairs Sai Pallavi and Junaid Khan together for the first time and is being helmed by debutant director Sunil Pandey. The film holds special significance as it also marks the reunion of Aamir Khan and Mansoor Khan as producers after 17 years – their last collaboration being the much-loved ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’.
Although the teaser of ‘Ek Din’ was earlier expected to be attached to Aamir Khan’s recent release ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’, that plan didn’t materialize. However, with the release date now locked, both the teaser and trailer are expected to drop soon, ramping up anticipation for Sai Pallavi’s Hindi film debut.
Before her role in the mythological drama ‘Ramayana’, where she stars as Sita alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Ravi Dubey (Lakshman), Sunny Deol (Hanuman), and Yash (Ravana), ‘Ek Din’ will reportedly showcase her in a more contemporary and romantic light. This will offer audiences a chance to see two very different shades of the talented actress.
Junaid Khan, who made his debut with the OTT film ‘Maharaj’ – based on the historic Maharaja Libel Case – followed it up with ‘Loveyapa’, which released in cinemas on Valentine’s Day 2025.
‘Ek Din’ will be his third major project. In a recent interview with News18 Showsha, Junaid spoke highly of his co-star, saying, “Sai Pallavi is absolutely fantastic. I’ve my fingers crossed for this one.”
With ‘Ramayana’ and ‘Ek Din’ lined up back-to-back, Sai Pallavi’s Bollywood journey is off to a powerful and promising start.
