Netflix Drops Midnight Surprise In Form Of ‘Jawan’ Extended Cut For Fans On SRK’s Birthday. Watch Promo
Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi’s ‘Jawan’ is now available to watch on Netflix.
Shah Rukh Khan is celebrating his 58th birthday today, and he has the perfect surprise in store for his fans. On the occasion of SRK’s birthday, popular streaming giant Netflix has released the extended version of his last release ‘Jawan’. The Atlee directorial, co-starring Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi, is now available to watch in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on Netflix. The streaming platform also released a new promotional clip featuring Shah Rukh Khan. The hilarious promo opens with SRK appearing as his character from ‘Jawan’ and making a call to Netflix.
He then asks for 'Jawan' to be released on Netflix. "Else your ‘Tudum’ will be ‘budum'," says SRK in the video. In the promo, SRK's girl gang also makes an appearance.

A banter then follows between SRK and a voice on the call and the duo end up talking about SRK's residence Mannat. SRK was able to force Netflix to drop ‘Jawan’ early on the platform.
“A gift for you on my birthday. Watch Jawan streaming on Netflix," says SRK.
The run-time of extended cut of 'Jawan' is 2 hours 50 minutes, while the run-time of theatrical version was 2 hours 45 minutes.
On the occasion of his birthday, Shah Rukh Khan greeted his fans who had gathered outside Mannat in Mumbai. After meeting his fans, SRK expressed his gratitude for turning up late at night, and he termed himself as just a "mere actor."
"It’s unbelievable that so many of u come & wish me late at night. I am but a mere actor. Nothing makes me happier, than, the fact that I can entertain u a bit. I live in a dream of your love. Thank u for allowing me to entertain you all. C u in the morning…on the screen & off it," SRK wrote on X.
SRK had greeted his fans with folded hands, and he also blew kisses. King Khan even struck his signature open arms pose.
Talking about 'Jawan', the new Hindi movie earned Rs 4 lakh on Wednesday (November 1), taking the total nett collection across all languages in India to Rs 640.15 crore.
'Jawan' has already become the highest-grossing Hindi movie in India, beating the record of Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel-starrer 'Gadar 2'.
SRK will next be seen in 'Dunki' this year. The movie, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, will be going up against Prabhas and Prashanth Neel's 'Salaar'.
