Watch: Aamir Khan Calls Son Junaid “Nepo Kid” As He Tries To Recreate Iconic Scene From ‘Andaz Apna Apna’
Aamir Khan and his son Junaid Khan are promoting the release of ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ on YouTube.
Bollywood megastar Aamir Khan's latest project 'Sitaare Zameen Par' has finally arrived on YouTube and fans can watch the Hindi film by paying just Rs 100. The film, directed by RS Prasanna, skipped OTT platforms and released on YouTube. Aamir Khan is now trying out different promotional ideas for making 'Sitaare Zameen Par' reach maximum households. In a new campaign, Aamir Khan can be seen poking fun at how his ideas haven't been paying off lately. Aamir is also joined by his son Junaid, in the advertisement.
The video begins with Aamir confronting a man at his home for watching 'Sitaare Zameen Par' by downloading it on his phone. It is then revealed that it his son Junaid's new scheme.
When Junaid butters his father up, Aamir says his ideas have always made him ‘barbaad’ (ruined). He then pokes fun at him remaking 'Forrest Gump' as 'Laal Singh Chaddha' and going ahead with making 'Thugs of Hindostan'.
It is then that Junaid tells Aamir about his idea of releasing 'Sitaare Zameen Par' on YouTube for Rs 100. Aamir hilariously mocks him by calling him a “nepo kid”.

‘Sitaare Zameen Par’, considered a spiritual successor to Aamir’s 2007 hit ‘Taare Zameen Par’, tells the story of a basketball coach guiding a team of specially challenged players and introduces ten new faces.
The film is written by Divy Nidhi Sharma and produced under Aamir Khan Productions. It earned Rs 267 crore globally according to Sacnilk and received mixed reviews from critics.
Aamir is currently producing ‘Lahore 1947’ starring Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta, and ‘Ek Din’, featuring his son Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi.
On the other hand, Junaid Khan was last seen in 'Loveyapa', alongside Khushi Kapoor. The film had tanked at the box office and it is currently available for streaming on JioHotstar.
