Soni Razdan, Mahesh Bhatt Finally Go Out On "Movie Date Night", All Thanks To SRK And 'Jawan'
Soni Razdan and Mahesh Bhatt saw Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan' in theatres on Monday evening.
Alia Bhatt's parents Soni Razdan and Mahesh Bhatt had not gone out for a "movie date night" in a long time, and the duo finally managed to catch a movie in theatres. All it took was a Shah Rukh Khan's release. In the latest entertainment news, Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan saw Atlee's 'Jawan' in theatres on Monday evening. After catching the movie in theatres, Soni Razdan shared her admiration for 'Jawan' and SRK on X, formerly known as Twitter.
"It took @iamsrk and #Jawaan to get the both of us out on a movie date night after I don’t know how many years ! And what a fabulous film - mind is blown, heart is happy @Atlee_dir wow Sir. Shah Rukh Khan gets more amazing with each film. Huge congratulations all round," she wrote.

When the couple were coming out of the theatre, they were surrounded by paparazzi and they asked them about their reaction to 'Jawan'.
"Aise lagi jaise puri Hindustan ko, puri duniya ko lag rahi hai," said Mahesh Bhatt.

Talking about ‘Jawan’, the new Hindi movie outperformed ‘Pathaan’ on its first Monday. According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, ‘Jawan’ earned Rs 30.50 crore nett in India, in just the Hindi version.
Following its historic opening, ‘Jawan’ has now become the third Bollywood film in 2023 to cross the Rs 300 crore mark in India, across all languages.
With 'Jawan', SRK now also has the record for highest collections for any actor at the Indian box office in a single calendar year. Till now, with 'Pathaan' and 'Jawan', SRK has a collection of Rs 829.21 crore in 2023. Akshay Kumar is at the second spot in the list as in 2019, he had collected Rs 757.13 crore with four movies.
Directed by Atlee and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, ‘Jawan’ also features Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi, portraying the protagonist’s love interest and nemesis, respectively.
The new movie also stars Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover, Priyamani, Ridhi Dogra, Ashlesha Thakur, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Girija Oak, Lehar Khan and Aaliyah Qureishi. ‘Jawan’ also features Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt in cameo appearances.
