Vicky Kaushal lent a helping hand to his co-star Rashmika Mandanna, who was seen limping due to her leg injury.
The much-awaited trailer for Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna’s ‘Chhaava’ is out. The three-minute long trailer was unveiled at a grand event in Mumbai on Wednesday. During the trailer launch event, Vicky Kaushal displayed his chivalrous side. The Bollywood star, known for his impeccable acting chops, lent a helping hand to his co-star Rashmika Mandanna, who was seen limping due to her leg injury. It is worth noting that Rashmika Mandanna made it to the event despite being injured. She was seen limping upon arrival.
Vicky Kaushal noticed Rashmika really struggling and he then stepped in to offer his support. Several videos are now going viral. Rashmika Mandanna can be seen dressed in a gorgeous red Anarkali suit. Vicky Kaushal, who sported a white traditional attire, escorted Rashmika Mandanna to her seat.

Soon after the video surfaced online, several social media users reacted to it and hailed Vicky Kaushal’s gesture.

For the unversed, Rashmika Mandanna sustained a leg injury while working out in the gym on January 11. The actress then took to Instagram to provide an update on her injury.
Sharing pictures of herself where she can be seen sitting on a chair with her injured feet, Rashmika wrote, “Well… happy New Year to me I guess! Injured myself in my sacred gym shrine. Now I’m in ‘hop mode’ for the next few weeks or months or god only knows, so seems like I’ll be hopping my way back to sets for Thama, Sikandar, and Kubera.”
“To my directors, sorry for the delay…I’ll be back soon enough just making sure my legs are fit for action (or at least fit for hopping). In the meantime, if you need me…I’ll be the one in the corner doing a highly advanced bunny hop workout. HOP HOP HOP,” she added.

Speaking about ‘Chhaava’, the film has been directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films. Vicky Kaushal plays the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj while Rashmika and Akshaye Khanna are playing the roles of Maharani Yesubai and Aurangzeb, respectively.
The film has been adapted from the Marathi novel ‘Chhava’ by Shivaji Sawant. The film will hit the theatres on February 14, 2025.
