However, looks like, finally Katrina Kaif is getting her due as an actress, and it is all because of Sriram Raghavan's 'Merry Christmas', which released in theatres today. For the unversed, 'Merry Christmas' is a thriller, which stars Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif in leading roles. The film has been shot simultaneously in Hindi and Tamil.
In the latest entertainment news, Katrina Kaif's husband and actor Vicky Kaushal on Friday posted a glowing review of the film, and he called the movie as Katrina Kaif's "best work" till date.
Taking to Instagram, Vicky Kaushal shared a still from 'Merry Christmas', and wrote, "#MerryChristmas everyone! So freaking proud of you love for how beautifully you have surrendered yourself to Sriram Sir’s masterful story telling and to the complexities of ‘Maria’… her rawness, her mystery, her magic… all done with such honesty and nuance! And that dance… uff! This one’s truly your best work till date."

'Jawan' director Atlee also took to X (formerly Twitter) to praise 'Merry Christmas', calling the film a "pure classic".

‘Merry Christmas’ is helmed by Sriram Raghavan. The film has been shot in two languages – Hindi and Tamil, with different supporting actors.
Starring Katrina and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles, the Hindi version also stars Sanjay Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Pratima Kannan, and Tinnu Anand.
On the other hand, the Tamil version features Radhika Sarathkumar, Shanmugaraja, Kevin Jay Babu, and Rajesh Williams.
