Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who is known to portray diverse roles with utmost perfection and ease, has had quite a journey in the entertainment industry. From starting out in the Indian film industry with small but significant roles to now playing the lead roles in movies, Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s acting journey has been memorable and an inspiring one. However, now Nawazuddin Siddqui, who has carved out his own niche, is done playing small roles.

In a recent interview with The Times of India, Nawaz said that he will not take up small roles even if someone offers him Rs 25 crore.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui said, “In my career in this industry, I have worked in many films where I did small roles. And I am done with that. Ab toh aap mujhe 25 crore bhi denge toh bhi main chhota role nahi karunga.”

Nawazuddin Siddiqui feels that money and fame are just “by-products” of your work.

The actor added, “If you just do your job well, money and fame will run after you. If you chase them, you will never find them, so just keep doing good work. We sometimes chase money and fame all our lives and get nothing. I believe that khudi ko itna enhance kar lo, khud ko aisa bana lo ki money aur fame aapke ghulam ban jaaye aur aap ke peeche bhaage.”

Nawazuddin Siddiqui rose to fame after playing the lead role in Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Gangs of Wasseypur 2’.

Over the years, Nawaz has delivered several acclaimed performances in films such as ‘Raman Raghav 2.0’, ‘Photograph’, ‘Haraamkhor’, ‘Manto’ and ‘Serious Men’.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui has also tasted success in mainstream cinema with hit films such as ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, ‘Kick’, ‘Badlapur’ and ‘Raees’.

Nawaz, who was last seen in ‘Heropanti 2’, has several films in the pipeline including ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’, ‘Bole Chudiyan’ and ‘Jogira Sara Ra Ra’.
