Actress Sushmita Sen on Thursday took to Instagram to reveal that she suffered a heart attack a couple of days ago and the 47-year-old has also revealed that she has gotten angioplasty done and a stent put in place. The 'Aarya' actress shared a picture with her father on Instagram and wrote: "Keep your heart happy & courageous, and it’ll stand by you when you need it the most Shona” (Wise words by my father @sensubir). I suffered a heart attack a couple of days back…Angioplasty done…stent in place…and most importantly, my cardiologist reconfirmed ‘I do have a big heart."

As soon as Sushmita Sen made the post, many stars from Bollywood also commented to wish a speedy recovery to the actress.

Sushmita Sen was last seen in the second season of Disney+ Hotstar show 'Aarya'. She has already shot for the third season.
The actress is best known for her roles in 'Main Hoon Na', 'Biwi No.1', 'Maine Pyaar Kyun Kia' and 'Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge'.
Sushmita Sen is a former Miss Universe and she is a single mom to daughter Alisah. She had also adopted Renee in 2000 while Alisah joined the family in 2010.
