We got a glimpse of Gauri Khan’s interior designing skills when she gave a quick makeover to one of the corners in Seema Kiran Sajdeh’s house, which featured in Netflix’s ‘Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives’. And needless to say, we were left mighty impressed! Not just us, Gauri Khan has everyone in Bollywood impressed with her interior designing skills too. Gauri Khan is the first name that comes to mind when her friends from B-town want makeovers for their homes.
Ace filmmaker Karan Johar too went with Gauri Khan for the renovation of his Mumbai residence in Bandra’s Pali Hill area. Taking to Instagram, KJo shared several pictures of his new bachelor pad. He also dropped photos of himself with Gauri Khan.

In an interview given to Architectural Digest India, Karan Johar heaped praises on Gauri Khan and explained how she curated the entire “vast space” to add more warmth and liveliness to it.
Speaking to the lifestyle magazine about Gauri Khan styling his apartment, the ace filmmaker revealed, “It’s such a vast space, and with no furniture around, the kids could run around and play. Every evening, once Roohi and Yash were done with virtual schooling, we would gather there for chai, and get in some family time.”
Karan Johar’s 5,500-square-foot apartment extension to his penthouse home is one of the most beautiful properties in the area. It features a wraparound terrace that Gauri has intricately designed keeping in mind KJo’s penchant for calling friends over and spending time with family members, especially his kids Roohi and Yash.
Gauri Khan shared that the bachelor pad has been “designed to reflect who Karan is: glamorous, fun, and also a little over the top!”
She also took to Instagram and shared pictures, writing, “Drawing inspiration from @karanjohar’s work that he creates with his unique eye for design… here’s his newly designed bachelor pad! @archdigestindia.”
Earlier, Gauri Khan had posted a video from Karan Johar's home and called it one of her “most cherished projects”.
KJo and Gauri Khan have been friends for a very long time. Gauri’s husband Shah Rukh Khan has starred in many of Karan Johar films ever since he made his debut as a director with ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ in 1998.
KJo has directed SRK in films such as ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’, ‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’ and ‘My Name Is Khan’. Interestingly, Karan Johar was Shah Rukh's co-star in ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’.
Gauri Khan, touted as one of the best interior designers in town, has given makeovers to several Mumbai restaurants and celebrity homes over the years.
She has designed homes for several Bollywood stars such as Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan among many others. She also designed Alia Bhatt's vanity van.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Karan Johar is awaiting the release of his next directorial, ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’. The film, starring Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi, is slated to release on July 28.
