IPL 2023: Here's all you need to know about the opening ceremony.

The wait is almost over as the biggest T20 tournament in the world is about to start. Yes, the Indian Premier League (IPL) will start today and the first match of IPL 2023 will be played between defending champions Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings. Gujarat Titans will be led by Hardik Pandya while CSK will be led by Thala MS Dhoni. Ahead of the tournament opener, a big IPL 2023 opening ceremony will take place, and there are some of the biggest performers in the country who are set to entertain an expected crowd of more than 1 lakh people.

The IPL 2023 opening ceremony will take place at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Rashmika Mandanna, Tamannaah Bhatia and Arijit Singh are confirmed to perform at the IPL 2023 opening ceremony and we cannot wait for these three talented superstars to take the stage.

There will also be several cultural acts during the opening ceremony, including a drone show.

The 16th season of the IPL will revert to the home and away format, where all the teams will play 7 home games and 7 away games respectively in the league stage. A total of 70 league stage matches will be played across 12 venues over the course of 52 days.

IPL 2023 will have 18 double headers, with the day games starting at 3:30 PM IST and the evening games starting at 07:30 PM IST.

The summit clash of IPL 2023 will be played on May 28, 2023.
