“Meri Soch Salary Wali Hai”: Kapil Sharma Breaks Silence Over Claims Of Rs 300 Crore Net Worth
In the latest Bollywood news, Kapil Sharma, who is currently promoting his upcoming film ‘Zwigato’, recently reacted to reports that claimed his net worth is Rs 300 crore.

In a recent interview with AajTak, Kapil Sharma got candid about his net worth, mental health, the dark phase of his life and more.
“You’re worth Rs 300 crore…” the interviewer said and Kapil Sharma laughed. In response to reports suggesting that his net worth is Rs 300 crore, he said, “Maine gawaaye bhi bohot hai, aap depression wale phase ki baat kar rahe the na… Sir mai sachi batau? Mujhe isse farak nai padta ki mere paas abhi kya aa raha hai kya nahi.”
“Mujhe isse farak padta hai ki mujhe jo chahiye tha.. ek ghar hai gaadi hai family hai, acha hai! Meri aaj bhi kahi na kahi soch salary wali hai. Mai aaj bhi apne liye kabhi mehengi chiz nahi kharidta hoon. Meri wife ne mere liye liya hai, wo alag baat hai. Wo kyunki shuru se ache ghar se thi. Mai aisa hoon nahi. Mai chahunga ki mai aur mehenga hota jau,” he added.
Kapil Sharma also said that his wife, Ginni Chatrath, didn’t have problems adjusting to his background even though she came from a wealthy family. He added that they’re both Punjabi and bonded easily.
He also said that he has a lot of respect for her because she stood by him when he was a nobody, and continued to support him throughout his journey.
The comedian, in his interview with AajTak, also said that he hopes to make more money, but feels that deep down, he is still the same middle class person that he used to be. He added that his children might experience life differently because they have grown up with privilege.
Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath have two children, daughter Anayra and son Trishaan.
After several years, Kapil Sharma his making a comeback as an actor in a movie with ‘Zwigato’. Directed by Nandita Das, the slice-of-life comedy drama will be released in theatres on March 24.
