Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani, who shared screen space in ‘Shershaah’, exchanged wedding vows on Tuesday. And their first pictures as a married couple are now out!
It’s just February but we might have already had the celebrity wedding of the year! The first photos of Bollywood stars Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani as a married couple are finally here and they are nothing less than dreamy. Fans were eagerly waiting for this moment with bated breath ever since the news of their wedding festivities dropped. And we can safely say that the first pictures of the newlyweds were worth the wait!
The celebrity couple, who shared screen space in the 2021 Bollywood movie ‘Shershaah’, exchanged wedding vows on Tuesday at Suryagarh Palace, a fortress hotel in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.
The much-in-love couple took to Instagram to share the first photos from their wedding ceremony. And we are absolutely smitten with the pictures!

For the big day, Kiara looked stunning in an ombre rose pink lehenga with a matching blouse featuring a sweetheart neckline and a pink dupatta with a golden and pink border. This gorgeous ensemble was designed by Manish Malhotra.
To accessorise her lehenga, Kiara opted for a diamond and emerald choker, stud earrings, a maang teeka, and bangles. With her hair tied in a neat bun, the actress completed the look with soft and dewy makeup.
Sidharth, on the other hand, complemented her in an intricately-embroidered golden-ivory sherwani complete with matching lower and a saafa. The actor’s look was completed with Polki jewellery with fine uncut diamonds.
They shared their first official wedding photos with a line from their film ‘Shershaah’: “Ab humari permanent booking hogayi hai. We seek your blessings and love on our journey ahead."
In the first picture, Sid and Kiara are sitting opposite each other with folded hands and flashing their million-dollar smiles.
In the next picture, we can see them smiling brightly while they seem to be seated on the mandap and the third shot shows Sidharth planting a kiss on his lady love’s cheeks.
The two are yet to pose for the media stationed outside the wedding venue in Rajasthan.
The couple had a traditional wedding in the presence of their close friends and family members. The star couple’s celebrity friends like Shahid Kapoor, Mira Rajput, Karan Johar, Armaan Jain, Juhi Chawla and Isha Ambani were also present for the big fat Indian wedding.
According to several reports, the pheras took place at a spot called Bawdi, which is in the middle of the luxurious property and has an aerial view.
Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani’s pre-wedding festivities including haldi, mehendi and sangeet ceremonies were held on Sunday and Monday respectively. Reportedly, during their sangeet function on Monday night, Sidharth also joined Kiara’s brother Mishaal who was singing a medley for her.
Reportedly, their sangeet playlist included songs like ‘Raataan Lambiyan’, ‘Ranjha’, ‘Kabhi Tumhe’, ‘Tera Ban Jaunga’ and ‘Mehendi Lagake Rakhna’ among many others.
For the unversed, Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani first met at the wrap-up party of 'Lust Stories' post which they began shooting for 'Shershaah'.
Sidharth and Kiara almost confirmed their relationship on Karan Johar's talk show 'Koffee With Karan 7' this year.
The ‘Shershaah’ stars were often spotted jetting off for exotic vacations, visiting each other's homes, and also spending time with each other's family members. They also celebrated the New Year together in Dubai, accompanied by Manish Malhotra and Karan Johar.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Kiara, last seen in ‘Govinda Naam Mera’ with Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar, has ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ opposite Kartik Aaryan and a Telugu film with Ram Charan in the works.
Sidharth's new film ‘Mission Majnu’ had released last month and he will next be seen in ‘Yodha’.
