Bollywood weddings have been trendsetters, serving as ultimate fashion inspiration or setting new goals by adding personal touches or breaking away from stereotypes. Celebrities make every effort to look stunning on their wedding day with their attires meticulously prepared down to the last detail, and a customised personal touch is included to make it even more memorable. Kiara Advani followed the ongoing trend of pocketing personalised details in her wedding look too by adding some of the beautiful details from her relationship with Sidharth Malhotra and a special homage to his late pet dog Oscar.

Kiara Advani skipped on the classic vermillion red and chose a stunning ombre rose pink lehenga by ace designer, Manish Malhotra. Besides her diamond and emerald jewellery, Kiara Advani added a more detailed accessory to her wedding look, with a pair of custom-made kaliras.

For her kaliras, Kiara trusted the popular, Mrinalini Chandra, who made the bespoke design for her. Mrinalini Chandra also posted a video sharing all the details about the beautiful kaliras.

Kiara Advani’s kaliras paid homage to the union of the two stars, with the couple’s initials ‘KS’, adorned with a string of stars, moon and butterflies.

Similar to her wedding lehenga, her kaliras also featured the couple’s love for their favourite travel destination -- Rome, a caricature design of groom Sidharth’s pet dog Oscar and a tiny enveloped message.

Oscar passed away in February last year. Sidharth used to regularly post photos with Oscar and had taken to social media to pen a note in the memory of his pet dog. Kiara Advani had also shared unseen pictures back then and had captioned them “Best Boys”.

Besides the ivory kaliras, Mrinalini Chandra also designed Kiara Advani’s custom-made chooda that featured a mix of blush and baby pink bridal bangles.

The couple tied the knot on February 7, 2023, at Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The big fat Indian wedding was attended by family, friends, and celebrities including Karan Johar, Manish Malhotra, Shahid Kapoor, Mira Rajput, Juhi Chawla and Isha Ambani.

Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra first met during the wrap-up party of ‘Lust Stories’. They began dating on the sets of the 2021 film ‘Shershaah’, their first film together.

The ‘Shershaah’ stars were often spotted jetting off for exotic vacations, visiting each other's homes, and spending time with each other's family members. They also celebrated the New Year together in Dubai, accompanied by Manish Malhotra and Karan Johar.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Kiara, last seen in ‘Govinda Naam Mera’ with Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar, has ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ opposite Kartik Aaryan and a Telugu film with Ram Charan in the works.

Sidharth's new film ‘Mission Majnu’ had released last month and he will next be seen in ‘Yodha’.
