Prabhas, Kriti Sanon-Starrer 'Adipurush' To Have World Premiere At Tribeca Film Festival
'Adipurush' will be having its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival, days ahead of its official release date.
The makers of 'Adipurush' have officially confirmed that the movie would be having its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on June 13. Talking about the premiere, director Om Raut said in a statement: "Adipurush is not a film, it is an emotion, a sentiment! It is our vision of a story that resonates with the very spirit of India. This very premiere at Tribeca Festival is truly surreal for me as well as the entire team as we get to showcase a story at global stage that has been very ingrained in our culture. We are truly thrilled and excited to see audiences’ reaction at the world premiere.”
'Adipurush' stars Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Sunny Singh and Saif Ali Khan in lead roles.
Actor Prabhas shared a new poster from the movie on Instagram and wrote: "Looking forward to #Adipurush being premiered at the #TribecaFestival on June 13th."

The 'Adipurush' teaser came out last year, however, it did not meet expectations as the netizens slammed the makers for questionable VFX effects.
In the movie, Prabhas would be seen playing the role of Lord Ram, while Saif Ali Khan would play Ravana.
'Adipurush' is slated to release in the theatres on June 16.
‘Adipurush’ had earlier courted controversy, including boycott calls, when many objected to the depiction of Hindu deities and inferior quality of visual effects in the teaser of the film launched in October.
The latest new Hindi film was earlier set to arrive in theatres on August 11, 2022, but the release date was further pushed to January 12, 2023. It is now slated to hit the screens in 3D on June 16 this year.
For the unversed, ‘Adipurush’ also stars Kriti Sanon as Janaki, Sunny Singh as Lakshman and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh.
The magnum opus, slated to hit the theatres in IMAX and 3D, will release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
