The much-awaited trailer for 'Adipurush' has finally been unveiled. The new Hindi movie has been directed by Om Raut, and it is based on the epic Ramayana, in which Prabhas stars as Lord Rama while Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan are playing the roles of Sita and Lankesh (Raavan). The new 'Adipurush' trailer opens with a narration from Lord Hanuman, who takes us through major plot points of Ramayana – Lord Ram’s banishment, the abduction of Sita, and the creation of the bridge to Lanka (Ram Setu).

The 'Adipurush' teaser came out last year, however, it did not meet expectations as the netizens slammed the makers for questionable VFX effects.
‘Adipurush’ had earlier courted controversy, including boycott calls, when many objected to the depiction of Hindu deities and inferior quality of visual effects in the teaser of the film launched in October.
The new Hindi movie was earlier set to arrive in theatres on August 11, 2022, but the release date was further pushed to January 12, 2023. It is now slated to hit the screens in 3D on June 16 this year.
The magnum opus, slated to hit the theatres in IMAX and 3D, will release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
