Shashank Khaitan's directorial 'Govinda Naam Mera’, which features Vicky Kaushal, Kiara Advani and Bhumi Pednekar, is now available on Disney+ Hotstar. Hours after the film released on the streaming platform, netizens flooded social media to praise Ranbir Kapoor's surprise cameo in the Bollywood movie. The ‘Barfi’ star has played himself for the cameo appearance in the popular song ‘Bijli’ with dance master Ganesh Acharya.
In the clips doing the rounds on the internet, Ranbir Kapoor can be seen grooving to the dance number and it’s safe to say that he surely steals the limelight!

In one of the clips, Vicky and Kiara are seen interacting with Ranbir and informing him that the hook step of the song is their choreography. However, they deny it when choreographer Ganesh Acharya joins the conversation.
After Ganesh Acharya leaves, Ranbir Kapoor informs them about a film that he is producing and tells them that they might get a chance to choreograph it. He also shares that the film will have Ranveer Singh in the lead.
Earlier in the scene, Ranbir Kapoor had overhead Vicky Kaushal say that Ranveer Singh is his favourite.

This is Ranbir Kapoor's second cameo in a film headlined by Vicky Kaushal. The actor had previously made a special appearance in Vicky Kaushal and Angira Dhar-starrer 'Love Per Square Foot'. Ranbir and Vicky had earlier shared screen time in the 2018 hit film 'Sanju'.
Ranbir Kapoor was last seen in the fantasy adventure film 'Brahmastra'. Ranbir will next star opposite Shraddha Kapoor in 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar', directed by Luv Ranjan.
