Revealed! Ranbir Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor’s Romantic-Comedy Title
Makers of Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor’s upcoming Bollywood movie finally revealed the rom-com’s title with a quirky video.
Get ready to witness another fresh pairing soon! The makers of Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor’s upcoming Bollywood movie have finally revealed the rom-com’s title. Ranbir and Shraddha’s next film, directed by Luv Ranjan, is called ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’. The movie’s title was revealed along with a quirky video, and the lead duo’s playful chemistry in the clip is unmissable! Shraddha Kapoor shared the title announcement video on Instagram, writing, “And the title is……Finally Here !!! Dekhoooo.”
The video gives a glimpse into Shraddha and Ranbir’s characters in the upcoming rom-com movie.
The nearly 40-second-long video begins with the introduction of Shraddha Kapoor’s character as “Jhoothi” and Ranbir Kapoor’s character as “Makkaar”.
In the video, Shraddha is also addressed as “Umrao Jaan” and Ranbir as “Bachchan Ki Deewar”.
Their playful chemistry is definitely the highlight of the video as Ranbir and Shraddha seem to be in love but from the looks of it, there’s surely a twist in store for the viewers.
There are some more shots of Shraddha and Ranbir continuously flirting with each other. The video concludes with the lead duo giving each other mischievous looks.
The reveal comes after Shraddha Kapoor, on Tuesday, teased fans with the film's initials.
‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’, co-produced by Luv Films' Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg, is presented by T- Series' Gulshan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar. The film will hit theatres on the occasion of Holi on 8 March 2023.
The upcoming Hindi film, which will see Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor sharing screen space for the first time, also marks the duo’s first project with Luv Ranjan. The director is best known for helming movies like the ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ franchise and ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’.
