In a sad news, actor Satish Kaushik died on Wednesday of a heart attack. The actor-director was 66. Fellow actor Anupam Kher confirmed the development on Twitter as he posted a picture alongside Satish Kaushik and wrote in Hindi: "Janta hu mrityu hi iss duniya ka antim sach hai par yeh baat mai jeete ji kabhi apne jigri dost #SatishKaushik ke baare me likhunga, yeh maine kabhi sapne mai bhi nahi socha tha. 45 saal ki dosti par aise achanak poornviram. Life will never be the same without you Satish! Om Shanti."

As per The Indian Express, Satish Kaushik died after suffering a heart attack in Delhi-NCR. His body is currently at the Fortis Hospital, Gurugram and it will now be brought to Mumbai after postmortem.
The celebrated actor suffered a heart attack in the car as he was visiting someone in Gurugram, reported The Indian Express.
Actress Kangana Ranaut also condoled the demise of Satish Kaushik, and she wrote on Twitter: "Woke up to this horrible news, he was my biggest cheerleader, a very successful actor and director #SatishKaushik ji personally was also a very kind and genuine man, I loved directing him in Emergency. He will be missed, Om Shanti."

Over his career, Satish Kaushik acted in many films and he was also a producer, director, comedian and screenwriter.
He was an alumni of the celebrated National School of Drama and Film and Television Institute of India.
He went on to act in several films such as 'Mr India', 'Deewana Mastana', 'Saajan Chale Sasural'.
He also directed movies like 'Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja', 'Prem', 'Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain' and 'Tere Naam'.
