Earlier, during the success meet of 'Pathaan', Shah Rukh Khan had cited the example of 'Amar Akbar Anthony' to spread the message of inclusivity.
SRK likened himself, Deepika and John to “Amar, Akbar, Anthony”, the characters from Manmohan Desai's 1977 film.
Preaching inclusivity, SRK said: "This is Deepika, she is Amar, I’m Shah Rukh Khan, I’m Akbar and John he is Anthony. We are ‘Amar, Akbar, Anthony’. And this is what makes cinema. There are no differences any one of us have with any culture. We are hungry for audience’s love. All these crores are not important. The love we receive, nothing is bigger than that."
'Pathaan' had released in the theatres on January 25 and since its release, the movie has made more than Rs 500 crore at the domestic box office. Internationally, the movie is nearing Rs 1,000 crore.
In 2023, SRK will also be seen in 'Jawan' and 'Dunki'. 'Jawan' has been directed by Atlee while 'Dunki' is helmed by Rajkumar Hirani.
As per several media reports, 'Jawan' is likely to be postponed and the movie might not release in June.
