Did you know 'Main Hoon Na' song 'Tumse Milke Dilka Jo Haal' has an uncanny resemblance to this English song?

Farah Khan has directed four movies so far, and three out of these have turned out to be huge box office hits. All the three hits star Shah Rukh Khan in leading roles, and it’s a crazy coincidence that when Farah decided to make a feature film without SRK, it turned out to be a box-office failure. Farah Khan and SRK have collaborated for three movies -- 'Main Hoon Na', 'Om Shanti Om', and 'Happy New Year', and all these three movies worked wonders at the box office. 'Main Hoon Na' was released in 2004, and the movie turned out to be a massive hit. The film is known for its slick screenplay and chartbuster songs.

But did you know the 'Main Hoon Na' song 'Tumse Milke Dilka Jo Haal' has an uncanny resemblance to a famous English song? Yes, you read that right!

Boney M's 'No More Chain Gang' will instantly remind you of the 'Main Hoon Na’ song. For the unversed, both tracks have similar beats.

In so many years, no one has found the resemblance. Both the songs have absolutely similar hook beats and tune. The only difference is that different instruments have been used to play similar tunes.

Boney M's 'No More Chain Gang' was released in 1979 and it can be assumed that the 'Main Hoon Na' makers decided to somewhat copy or sample the trademark tune.

Speaking of 'Main Hoon Na', the film was produced by Gauri Khan under the banner Red Chillies Entertainment. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan, Sushmita Sen, Sunil Shetty, Amrita Rao, Zayed Khan, Kirron Kher, Boman Irani and Naseeruddin Shah. In the film Major Ram Sharma (Shah Rukh Khan) is sent on an undercover mission where he poses as a college student to protect a general's daughter (Amrita Rao) from a dangerous rogue soldier (Suniel Shetty).

At the 50th Filmfare Awards, 'Main Hoon Na' received 12 nominations, including Best Film, Best Director (Farah), Best Actor (Shah Rukh Khan), Best Supporting Actress (Amrita Rao), Best Supporting Actor (Zayed Khan) and Best Villain (Suniel Shetty).

Talking about SRK, he had one of the best years of his career in 2023 with blockbuster hits ‘Pathaan’, ‘Jawan’ and ‘Dunki’.

The actor is yet to announce his next film, but reportedly he will start working on ‘Pathaan 2’ later this year.
