Priyanka Chopra Wears Necklace Worth More Than Rs 350 Crore, Took More Than 2,800 Hours To Make

Priyanka Chopra Jonas is one true global sensation and she continues to make India proud with each passing day. Recently, the 'Bajirao Mastani' actress travelled to Rome, Italy to attend the Bvlgari Aeterna event, alongside Anne Hathaway, Shu Qi, and Liu Yifei. For the event, Priyanka Chopra Jonas was seen wearing an eight-figure choker necklace. In the latest entertainment news, People Magazine has now reported the cost of the necklace, and it will just blow your mind. As per the report, the necklace is worth a whopping USD 43 million. If you convert it into Indian rupees, the cost becomes more than Rs 358 crore. As per People Magazine, the "Serpenti Aeterna necklace is cut from a diamond of over 200 carats used to create seven pearls totaling in 140 carats".
The diamond-crafted pearls lay beneath a platinum "sinuous three-dimensional wave structure", that is made of 698 diamonds, worth 61.81 carats, as reported by People Magazine.
The same report states that the necklace took more than 2,800 hours to make.
For the event, Priyanka Chopra Jonas wore a monochrome off-shoulder dress. Priyanka Chopra also sported a new short hairdo.
For the unversed, Priyanka, Anne, Liu Yifei, and Shu Qi, are the global ambassadors of Bvlgari.
At the event, these four women were seen wearing jewellery from the brand’s new collection, which celebrates its 140-year long legacy in sourcing precious stones.
On the work front, Priyanka Chopra Jonas will next be seen in Hollywood film 'Heads of State'. The upcoming movie also stars Idris Elba, John Cena, and Jack Quaid in key roles.
It is directed by Ilya Naishuller. Priyanka Chopra will also be seen in ‘The Bluff’, directed by Frank E Flowers.
