"When I Went To India...": Vin Diesel Shares Unseen Old Pic With Deepika Padukone
Vin Diesel took a trip down memory lane and shared an unseen photo of himself with Deepika Padukone.
Hollywood star Vin Diesel has been good friends with 'Pathaan' actress Deepika Padukone, ever since they co-starred in 2017 American action-thriller 'XXX: Return of Xander Cage'. For the unversed, 'XXX: Return of Xander Cage' was Deepika Padukone's Hollywood debut, and the film emerged as a box office success, despite receiving negative reviews from the critics. In the latest entertainment news, Vin Diesel took a trip down the memory lane and he also shared an unseen picture of himself with Deepika during his visit to India.
In the picture that Diesel posted on Instagram, the 'Fast & Furious' actor can be seen helping Deepika wear a fur overcoat. The film director DJ Caruso, in the meantime, can be seen seated in the driver’s seat of an autorickshaw.
"When I think about the amount of directors that have wanted to work with me more than once I am always just humbled. This is a pic of when I went to India as I promised Deepika I would, with the director at the time, DJ Caruso… While we are currently juggling the order of the productions, my oldest daughter read the script that DJ sent to me, thinking that it would fall into the Pacifier bracket. She cried… I asked her why she cried, and she said because the story of a brother and sister rang true for her and it was emotional," the actor wrote on Instagram.
"Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em, Mattel’s Follow up to Barbie… Universal’s Kojak, Witch Hunter, Riddick4 and of course the finale to Fast are all fighting for position. Blessed. If I could make the film work that my daughter cried reading, my question for you would be, who would play my sister… she suggested Jennifer Lawrence. What do you think," he added.

During his India visit in 2017, Vin Diesel had interacted with fans at a musical event, and he had also danced with Deepika Padukone on her hit track from 'Chennai Express' -- 'Lungi Dance'.
Vin Diesel was last seen in 'Fast X', and the second installment of 'Fast X' will now be releasing in 2025.
On the film front, Deepika Padukone was last seen with Hrithik Roshan and Anil Kapoor in ‘Fighter’, which was released on January 25, 2024.
Deepika Padukone is now working on 'Kalki 2898 AD' featuring Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan. She will also be seen in Rohit Shetty's 'Singham Again', alongside Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Arjun Kapoor and Tiger Shroff.
