Dune: Part Two - Timothee Chalamet Gives Huge Update For Fans

Timothee Chalamet took to Instagram to give a huge update for his upcoming movie 'Dune: Part Two' that took the excitement among fans to fever pitch.

Timothee Chalamet announces production wrap on 'Dune: Part 2'.

Ever since 'Dune: Part One' released in 2021, fans have been asking for more and cannot wait for the release of the second part. Now, giving a big update on the movie, the lead actor of the ‘Dune: Part Two’ Timothee Chalamet, who plays 'Paul Atredies' in the flick, has announced that the Denis Villenueve-directorial has wrapped up production for the second part. The actor took to his Instagram to announce the news. 

In the photo posted by the actor, Chalamet can be seen along his dad, Marc Chalamet and he captioned the post as: "DUNE 2 WRAPPED (with desert dad!!)".

As per Variety, the second part of the movie had began filming in July this year. 

The official synopsis of 'Dune: Part Two" from Warner Bros and Legendary Entertainment reads: "This follow-up film will explore the mythic journey of Paul Atreides as he unites with Chani and the Fremen while on a warpath of revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. Facing a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, he endeavors to prevent a terrible future only he can foresee.”

'Dune: Part Two' will have an ensemble cast including Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Javier Bardem, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista, Charlotte Rampling and Stephen McKinley Henderson.

The new cast additions from the first movie include Austin Butler, Christopher Walken, Florence Pugh, Souheila Yacoub and Lea Seydoux. 

'Dune: Part One' had released in 2021 and it was a science fiction film based on the 1965 novel by Frank Herbert. The first part of the movie covered the first half of the book. The film followed 'Paul Atreides' and the noble House Atreides, and how they are thrust into a war for the deadly and inhospitable desert planet Arrakis.

The movie went on to mint more than USD 401 million worldwide on a production budget of USD 165 million.
