'RRR' Song 'Naatu Naatu' To Be Performed Live At Oscars 2023

Oscars 2023: 'Naatu Naatu' to be performed live during ceremony.

Oscar-nominated 'RRR' track 'Naatu Naatu' will be performed live at the 95th Academy Awards by singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava. This will also mark their debut at the ceremony. For the unversed, 'Naatu Naatu' has been nominated in the Best Original Song category and the song has been composed by MM Keeravaani and the lyrics have been provided by Chandrabose.

This announcement of the song being performed live was confirmed by the Academy on their official Twitter account.

'RRR' had released in India in 2022 and the movie received wide acclaim both commercially and critically. The movie has been directed by SS Rajamouli and it stars Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn. 

The film’s song ‘Naatu Naatu’, which has become a hit globally, bagged an Oscar nomination in the Best Original Song category.

The track, composed by MM Keeravani and sung by Kaala Bhairava and Rahul Sipligunj, has won the Best Original Sing award at the Critics Choice Movie Awards, Golden Globes, and the Hollywood Critics Association Awards among others.

Recently, 'RRR' had bagged four accolades wards at the Hollywood Critics Association awards. 

At the award ceremony, 'RRR' picked up the accolades for best international film, best action film, best song (Naatu Naatu) and best stunts. 

Oscars 2023 will be held on Sunday, March 12 (March 13 in India) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. The ceremony will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.
