For the unversed, Nag Ashwin's sci-fi epic ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is a mix of Hindu mythology set in a dystopian world where some people have made it their mission to save the unborn child of Deepika Padukone’s character.
The new pan-India film also features cameos by Vijay Deverakonda, Mrunal Thakur, Dulquer Salmaan, SS Rajamouli and Ram Gopal Varma.
Considering 'Kalki 2898 AD' ends on a cliffhanger, a part 2 is inevitable. However, the makers have not revealed when the second part will be released.
