Rana Daggubati and Fahadh Faasil have been roped in for Rajinikanth's 'Thalaivar 170'.
Rajinikanth's 'Thalaivar 170' just keeps on getting bigger and bigger! On Tuesday, it was confirmed that actors Rana Daggubati and Fahadh Faasil have been roped in for this particular project. The news was shared by production house Lyca Production on X (formerly Twitter). “Welcoming the dapper & supercool talent Mr. Rana Daggubati on board for #Thalaivar170 #Thalaivar170Team has gotten even more charismatic with the addition of the dashing @RanaDaggubati,” read the statement.

Earlier, it was announced that Malayalam star Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh of 'Irudhi Suttru' fame, and Dushara Vijayan are also going to be a part of this project.
For the unversed, Rajinikanth has already started shooting for 'Thalaivar 170'.
The new Tamil film will have music by Anirudh Ravichander.
Talking about Rana Daggubati, the actor has not had any film release in 2023 except for a cameo in Nikhil Siddhartha’s 'Spy'. However, this year he made his OTT debut with Netflix’s original series 'Rana Naidu', the Indian version of 'Ray Donavan'.
Speaking of Fahadh Faasil, the actor was last seen in Tamil film 'Maamannan', alongside Vadivelu and Keerthy Suresh.
Talking of Rajinikanth, the actor is currently celebrating the success of 'Jailer', which has made more than Rs 500 crore worldwide.
Kalanithi Maran, the owner of Sun Pictures, had recently gifted luxury cars to superstar Rajinikanth, director Nelson Dilipkumar and music composer Anirudh Ravichander for making 'Jailer' a blockbuster.
Recently, a success meet was also held and gold coins were gifted to all the crew members who were associated with 'Jailer'.
