Todd Field's 'Tar' won the Best Picture Award at the New York Film Critics Circle. Colin Farrell took home the Best Actor for two of his performances — Kogonada’s sci-fi drama 'After Yang' and Martin McDonagh’s 'The Banshees of Inisherin'.
'RRR' is being appreciated in the west and the movie which stars Ram Charan and Jr NTR in lead roles, is mounting quite a campaign for the Oscars. However, it is important to mention that 'RRR' was not picked as India's official entry for the Oscars 2023.
The film was a raging success at the box office in India and it emerged as one of the highest grossing films in the country.
'RRR' had released across the globe in multiple languages -- Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.
The movie was Rajamouli's first project after the 2017 smash-hit 'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion'.
Apart from Ram Charan and Jr NTR, 'RRR' also starred Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Olivia Morris, Samuthirakani, Alison Doody and Ray Stevenson.
