For the unversed, the 2015 Bollywood movie ‘Drishyam’ was an edge-of-the-seat thriller and had received immense appreciation for its multilayered narrative, Ajay Devgn's and Tabu's strong performances, and unpredictable twists and turns.

It was the Hindi remake of the Malayalam film ‘Drishyam’ (2013) starring Mohanlal. The Malayalam ‘Drishyam 2’, which released in 2021, was also a major hit, registering critical and commercial success.

The recently released ‘Drishyam 2’ trailer brought back all the actors from the first installment, which further lends a highly authentic feel to the upcoming Bollywood sequel.

The 'Drishyam 2' trailer gives a glimpse of what’s in store, picking up from where the first part ended, as we see that Salgaonkar (Ajay Devgn) will now be tackling not just one but two cops (Tabu and Akshay Khanna) at once. Akshaye Khanna’s dominating presence and his confrontational scenes with Ajay Devgn showcased in the trailer will definitely leave the viewers wanting for more.

Adding to the excitement of the viewers, during the 'Drishyam 2' trailer, the narrator mentions how truth is like a seed that can never be buried away – promising a thrilling ride.

Towards the end of the trailer, we see Vijay confessing. However, the makers haven’t revealed if he will actually accept his crime this time.

Helmed by Abhishek Pathak, the film also stars Ishita Dutta and Rajat Kapoor.
