'Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway' Trailer: Rani Mukerji Takes On Entire Nation To Fight For Her Children
The first trailer for Rani Mukerji-starrer 'Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway' is out and it’s gripping to say the least!
The first trailer for Rani Mukerji-starrer 'Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway' is out and it promises to be a very emotional affair. The film has been directed by Ashima Chibber and the plot revolved around a true story of an Indian couple whose children were taken away from them by Norwegian welfare services in 2011, reported Variety. In the movie, Rani Mukerji plays the titular role of Mrs. Chatterjee who ends up fighting a legal battle with the Norwegian government to reunite with her children.
In the beginning of the trailer, we are given a perfect picture of Mrs Chatterjee's life in Norway. But her life takes a turn for the worse as two women snatch away her kids.
She then later comes to know that the kids have been taken away from her by the Norwegian government as they think that the Chatterjees have been unable to provide proper care for their kids. The authorities say that Mrs. Chatterjee feeds her kids by hand, and puts teekas on the heads of her kids.

Apart from Rani Mukerji, the film also stars Anirban Bhattacharya, Neena Gupta and Jim Sarbh.
The film, which was earlier set to debut in theatres on March 3, will now release on March 17.
The film is based on the lives of Anurup and Sagarika Bhattacharya, an Indian couple in Norway whose children were sent to foster care in May 2011. The couple was not allowed to meet their kids until they turned 18.
The movie, directed by Ashima Chibber of ‘Mere Dad Ki Maruti’ fame, is being produced by Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani of Emmay Entertainment and Zee Studios.
Coming back to Rani Mukerji, the actress was last seen in the 2021 movie ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’, co-starring Saif Ali Khan, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Sharvari Wagh.
