CWC 2023: Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Ayushmann Khurrana have all reacted to India's win in the semi-final.

Rohit Sharma-led Team India is having a dream run in the ongoing Cricket World Cup 2023. The hosts have made their way to the final after beating New Zealand in the first semi-final at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer and Mohammed Shami put up outstanding performances to help India beat New Zealand by 70 runs and now they will take on either Australia or South Africa in the summit clash on November 19. 

In the latest entertainment news, congratulatory messages continue to pour in. Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Ayushmann Khurrana have all reacted to India's win over New Zealand.

Taking to X, SRK wrote, "Yay boys!!! What a display of team spirit and play. Unto winning the finals now. All the best….India !!!”

On the other hand, Amitabh Bachchan said, "when I don't watch we WIN!”

Malayalam superstar Mohanlal also took to X to praise Team India for the win. He said, "Congratulations #TeamIndia on a remarkable victory in the World Cup Semi Finals! Kudos to Virat Kohli for his record-setting innings and a masterclass by Mohammed Shami. Let's carry this form and make history in the finals. #MenInBlue #INDvNZ."

Ayushmann Khurrana said, "Tremendous team triumph! 🇮And we enter the finals!Little hiccups were imperative in this contest, that happened in the middle. Now we are all set to win this edition! This dominance is unprecedented! #YehCupHumaraHai

Virat Kohli scripted history on the all-important day as he played a knock of 117 runs off 113 balls. With this, Kohli broke the record of his "hero" Sachin Tendulkar and he now has the most number of ODI centuries (50).

Talking about the match, batting first, Team India posted 397/4, owing to knocks of 117 and 105 by Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer,  respectively.

Mohammed Shami then registered the best ODI figures by an Indian bowler as he returned with a spell of 7-57, and as a result, New Zealand could only manage 327, losing the match by 70 runs.
