Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar (Netflix)
This Sanjay Leela Bhansali series starring Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Manisha Koirala, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Sheikh, and others, is currently streaming on Netflix. The eight-episode series is set in the era of India's struggle for independence in the 1940s. This Netflix series also explores the cultural nuances of Heeramandi, a red-light district in Lahore known for its courtesans and their clientele.
Shaitaan (Netflix)
This Ajay Devgn, Jyotika, and R Madhavan-starrer has finally arrived on Netflix. When it was released in cinemas in March, the movie turned out to be a massive success story, and it did a business of more than Rs 150 crore in India. Speaking of 'Shaitaan', the Hindi film has been produced by Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, Kumar Mangat Pathak, and Abhishek Pathak under the banners of Devgn Films, Jio Studios, and Panorama Studios.
The plot of the film revolves around a happy family and how their lives take a turn for the worse after meeting a mysterious man.
The Broken News Season 2 (Zee5)
This thriller series has been directed by Vinay Waikul, and it stars Sonali Bendre, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Shriya Pilgaonkar. The trio will be reprising their roles as Ameena Qureshi, Dipankar Sanyal, and Radha Bhargava, respectively. This series is based on news reporting.
Manjummel Boys (Disney+ Hotstar)
This Malayalam survival thriller is currently the highest-grossing Malayalam film of all time. The film stars Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, Balu Varghese, Ganapathi S Poduval, Lal Jr, Deepak Parambol, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Arun Kurian, Khalid Rahman, Chandu Salimkumar, Shebin Benson, and Vishnu Reghu. This Paul King-directorial stars Timothée Chalamet as the title character. The movie tells the origin story of Willy Wonka, a character in the 1964 novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl, depicting his early days as a chocolatier.
