“Jalte Hain Log”: Richa Chadha Shuts Down Trolls Criticising Aishwarya Rai Bachchan After Paris Fashion Week
Richa Chadha showed support for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan after she was trolled because of her Paris Fashion Week walk.
Bollywood actress Richa Chadha, who recently starred in ‘Fukrey 3’, has proved her acting mettle with movies like ‘Masaan’, ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’, ‘Sarbjit’ and ‘Panga’, among many others. Apart from being a versatile actress, she is also known for always speaking her mind. Naturally, when a star candidly speaks about anything, they are subjected to trolling. Richa Chadha is one of those Bollywood actresses. Richa Chadha, who is no stranger to trolls, recently gave a befitting reply to naysayers who targeted and criticised Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for her look at Paris Fashion Week 2023.
Richa Chadha showed support for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who faced severe trolling following her appearance at the star-studded event last month. In an interview on the YouTube channel Jist, the ‘Fukrey’ actress commended Aishwarya Rai and suggested that the trolls are simply “jealous” of her.

Richa Chadha said, “Jalte hain log unse. Aur kya? Kaddu jaisi shakal leke sabse khoobsurat mahila hai voh history mein Hindustan ki aaj tak ki. Aur mujhe lagta hai ki unme bahut discipline hai aur vo kaafi graceful hain.”
She added, “Kabhi aap dekhiye kisi ki bitching nahi karti, kuch kharab nahi bolti. Mujhe acchi lagti hain. Bahut shareef, South Indian mentality ki, curd rice aur papad khaane wali lady hain vo. Karte rahe troll log unko. Kya farak padega?”
On being asked about how to deal with trolling, Richa Chadha said, “Kyun tumhe deal karna hai bhai? Meri baat suno, Chintu Chandigarh main baith ke kya soch raha hai tumhe kya farak padega?”
She further said, “Chintu tumhare aage aa gaya tum usse chaprasi na rakho apne ghar mein. Kya farak padta hai? Chintu apni bhadaas nikal raha hai, uske peeche ka paint peel ho raha hai, uske paas naukri nahi hai, uski mummy LPG se chulhe pe aa gayi hain. Chintu kya karega? ‘Inki dress acchi nahi hai’. Okay.”
Richa Chadha concluded, “Earlier main bother hoti thi ki koi aise kaise bol sakta hai yaar. Fir mujhe lagta hai bol sakta hai, bolne do yaar, kya farak padta hai. Aap bilkul load lena kisi ke trolling ki. Na khush hain log apne jeevan se vo dusro ko target karte hain. Jalte hain.”
For the unversed, the Bollywood actress worked with Aishwarya Rai in the 2016 film ‘Sarbjit’, which starred Randeep Hooda in the titular role. While Richa Chadha played his wife, Aishwarya Rai essayed his sister.
Meanwhile, Richa Chadha was last seen in ‘Fukrey 3’ and had a brief but intriguing role in Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Charlie Chopra and the Mystery of Solang Valley’. She is set to appear in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming Netflix original ‘Heeramandi’.
