Late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala's parents have been blessed with a baby boy, two years after the singer was shot dead. In the latest entertainment news, the announcement was made by Sidhu Moose Wala's father Balkaur Singh. The 60-year-old also said that the entire family is healthy. He also shared a photo with his newborn and a portrait of the singer.

"With the blessings of millions of souls who love Shubdeep, the Almighty has put Shubh's younger brother in our group," Balkaur Singh wrote in Punjabi on Instagram. 

"With the blessings of Waheguru, the family is healthy and thankful to all the well-wishers for their immense love," he added.

For the unversed, Sidhu Moose Wala's mother Charan Kaur, conceived through the In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF) technique. 

Speaking of Sidhu Moose Wala, he is regarded as one of the greatest Punjabi artists of his generation. He is known for songs like 'So High', 'G Wagon', '47 and 'Mera Na'.

The singer was shot dead by unidentified assailants in May 2022. A Canada-based gangster, Lawrence Bishnoi then claimed responsibility for the killing.

Sidhu Moose Wala was also involved in several controversies as he was accused of promoting gun culture in his songs. 

He also faced several legal challenges for promoting gun culture through his song lyrics.

For the unversed, Sidhu Moose Wala had also contested the elections from Mansa in 2022 on a Congress ticket. At that time, his mother Charan Kaur had filed the affidavit as a covering candidate.

As per Tribune, she stated her age as 56 years old back then. As per this, her age is now 58.
