Women's Premier League (WPL) 2024 is all set to start with a bang on Friday. The opening ceremony will be attended by the likes of Shah Rukh Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra, Kartik Aaryan, and Tiger Shroff, and we just cannot wait to see our favourite stars entertaining the Bengaluru crowd. In the latest entertainment news, on the eve of the opening ceremony, Shah Rukh Khan was seen rehearsing for his dance performance, and he was even seen interacting with the players of Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals. 

A video is going viral on social media in which Shah Rukh Khan can be seen teaching his iconic pose to former Australia women's captain Meg Lanning. As soon as Meg Lanning manages to perfect the pose, SRK gives her a warm hug.

"Kehte hain agar kisi cheez ko dil se chaho, toh poori kainaat use tumse milane ki koshish mein lag jaati hai. King, Queen," wrote the official Instagram handle of Delhi Capitals.

In another video, SRK was seen interacting with the players of Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals. Mumbai Indians captain Harmanpreet Kaur was seen hugging the 'Pathaan' star. 

"KING meets Queens. The @mipaltan and @DelhiCapitals had a surprise visitor and they surely couldn't hold back their excitement seeing King Khan at the nets, the official handle of WPL wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

Another clip showed Delhi Capitals' director of cricket, Sourav Ganguly hugging SRK. The duo also spoke briefly to each other. For the unversed, Ganguly was the first captain of SRK-owned IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders.

Talking about WPL 2024, the tournament will kick off on Friday with the opening match between Delhi Capitals and last year's winners Mumbai Indians. The tournament will be held in Bengaluru and Delhi from February 23 to March 17.

On the work front, a recent report from Pinkvilla stated that SRK is gearing up for 'Pathaan 2'. For the unversed, ‘Pathaan’ marked the return of SRK to the silver screen after a gap of more than four years, and the movie collected more than Rs 1,000 crore worldwide.

Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani's ‘Dunki’.
