Watch: Big B’s Viral-Worthy Response To ‘KBC 15’ Contestant Aspiring To Become Income Tax Officer
Amitabh Bachchan jokingly told a ‘KBC 15’ contestant, aspiring to become an income tax officer, that he would never want to meet him.
Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has been making headlines these days owing to several promotional clips of his upcoming reality show, ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 15’. Also known as ‘KBC’, it is a popular Indian television game show. The Amitabh Bachchan-hosted show gives contestants the chance to win a whopping cash prize. ‘KBC’ has gained immense popularity since its inception in 2000 and continues to be a favourite among the masses, providing knowledge and entertainment. In just a few days, Big B will be back with ‘KBC 15’.
Several promos from the episodes have been shared by Sony TV, giving a glimpse of the fun ride that awaits the audience. In a new video, Big B can be seen interacting with a contestant who wants to become an income tax officer. While the iconic Bollywood star encouraged him to win a big amount, Big B was quick to say that he hopes they never meet again.

In the promo video, the young contestant shared that while the first level for other contestants is Rs 10,000 mark, for him it’s Rs 80,000. He shared that his family is hoping for him to become an income tax officer. For the same, he has already checked a coaching centre in Delhi. It will cost him Rs 80,000.
Hearing him, Amitabh Bachchan said, “Aap 80,000 toh kya… 80,000 se zyada jeet kar ke jayein. Aap income tax officer ban jayein aur humare saath aapka kabhi bhi sampark na ho.”
His hilarious comment left the contestant and studio audience in splits.
Talking about ‘KBC’, the show’s format involves multiple-choice questions, with each question's difficulty level increasing as the game progresses. Contestants can use lifelines such as ‘Phone a Friend’ and ‘Audience Poll’ to help them answer questions correctly.
‘KBC 15’ will begin airing from August 14. It will run from Monday to Friday at 9 pm on Sony TV.
Amitabh Bachchan has been hosting the quiz game show since its first season in 2000, except for the third season, which was hosted by Shah Rukh Khan in 2007.
On the film front, Amitabh Bachchan will be seen in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, co-starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani.
Besides ‘Project K’, Big B also has ‘Ganapath’, ‘Section 84’, ‘The Intern’ Hindi remake, and R Balki's untitled next in the pipeline.
