"Trying To Defame Me": Abdu Rozik Dismisses Reports Of FIR Against Him For "Playing With Loaded Gun"

It is being reported that a FIR has been registered against the star for "playing with a loaded gun" at the launch of his restaurant in Mumbai. However, in the latest entertainment news, the singer has clarified that all these reports are false, and it is causing him distress. As per a report in Bombay Times, Abdu Rozik has called these allegations as "calculated" and "malicious".
“Some people are trying to defame me and sabotage my business. I love India and everyone here, but I don’t understand why some people are targeting me. The reports made me very sad. I held it for hardly a few seconds and returned it immediately. However, some people clicked pictures of me holding the gun and started circulating them," Bombay Times quoted Abdu Rozik as saying.
Abdu Rozik has also stated that no FIR has been filed against him.
“I fell sick due to stress. I feared that my visa would be cancelled, and I wouldn’t get to come to India again. So, I went to the police on my own accord. I wanted to inform them that I hadn’t done anything wrong. They were very supportive and understood the situation," said Abdu Rozik.
The report also quoted his lawyer Ali Kaashif Khan and he said that Abdu Rozik is "innocent".
“Neither was there any loaded gun nor was it real. Abdu has recorded his statement with the police and is cooperating,” the lawyer was quoted as saying.
Coming back to Abdu Rozik, he was introduced as the first contestant in ‘BB 16’. Salman Khan revealed Abdu’s name during the mega launch of ‘Bigg Boss 16’ in Mumbai.
Abdu Rozik won over the internet with his song ‘Ohi Dili Zor’. The singer has a YouTube channel called ‘Avlod Media’ and it has over 638k subscribers. He boasts of more than 8.3 million followers on Instagram. Abdu reportedly belongs to a family of gardeners.
