Abdu Rozik, who can be currently seen in ‘Bigg Boss 16’, is a 19-year-old singer, boxer and blogger from Tajikistan. Rozik suffers from growth hormone deficiency (GHD). Rozik was also diagnosed with rickets but his family did not have the financial resources for his treatment. But that didn’t stop him from succeeding.
Abdu Rozik, who famously calls himself 'Chota Bhaijaan' in the ‘Bigg Boss 16’ house, has never let his deficiency define who he is. Rozik proudly stands tall with all his achievements and insanely huge fan base. Rozik, who is the world's smallest professional singer and boxer, has amassed 5.4 million followers on Instagram.
Rozik has also created quite a buzz on ‘Bigg Boss 16’, emerging as the viewers favourite in no time thanks to his cute antics. Coming to his acting skills, you may be surprised to know that the singer is all set to make his Bollywood debut soon. Abdu Rozik landed himself a role in Salman Khan’s upcoming film ‘Bhaijaan’, which was previously titled ‘Kabhie Eid Kabhie Diwali’.
Apart from being a singer, actor and boxer, Abdu Rozik is also a popular social media personality and reportedly earns around Rs 2 crore per Instagram post. The internet sensation, born on 23rd September 2003, often shares pictures and videos with several prominent personalities from across the world on his Instagram handle. Abdu Rozik was often bullied and mocked for his size as a result of which he could only get 3 years of formal education. Teachers didn't provide him with books and stationery supplies as they thought it was a waste of time to teach him anything. Rozik also revealed that even though his classmates were nice to him, his seniors troubled him and would even beat him.
In an interview with Youtuber Anas Bukhash, the internet sensation opened up on his struggles and added that because his teachers said, “Do not come and they did not give me books. I bought my own books and studied at home, and I just started learning to sing when I was 7 or 8."
Abdu Rozik, who has released several songs, started his career in 2019 when IFCM spotted him at the age of 17 and the UAE's royal family's Yasmine Safia who owns IFCM decided to invest in his talent and hone his skills, allowing him to travel across the world. Before his online presence skyrocketed, Rozik made his income and supported his family by singing on the streets of Gishdarva.
Speaking about his journey and thanking Yasmine, Abdu, in an interview, said, "CEO and founder of IFCM, Yasmine Safia of Dubai deserves a special mention for putting me in coaching classes for Hindi and English, mentoring my music, sports, acting, and dance career, and helping me breakthrough in the world performing market."
Over the past two years, Abdu Rozik has performed with some of the most renowned artists including AR Rahman, Redone, French Montana and Will I AM. Apart from making a name for himself through singing, Rozik has also participated in a few MMA bouts. The actor-singer received his professional boxing training from British boxer and World Boxing champion Amir Khan.
Rozik, best known for his rap song ‘Ohi Dili Zor’, went viral after a clip of him trying to fight fellow internet sensation, Hasbulla Magomedov a.k.a General Vgorode, was widely shared on social media.
