India created history on Wednesday evening with Chandrayaan-3 as the Vikram Lander made a successful soft landing on the unexplored south pole of the moon at 6:04 PM. Indian Space Research Organisation's (ISRO) Chandrayaan-3 landed on the moon and this development was confirmed by the Twitter handle of ISRO. Taking to Twitter, the Space Organisation wrote: "Chandrayaan-3 Mission:’India, I reached my destination and you too!’: Chandrayaan-3Chandrayaan-3 has successfully soft-landed on the moon ! Congratulations, India.”

As soon as the news was confirmed, Indian celebrities such as Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Rajinikanth, Kartik Aaryan, Hrithik Roshan, Akshay Kumar, Vijay Varma, SS Rajamouli, and others, were not able to hold back their excitement.
SRK took to Twitter to celebrate the historic moment, and he wrote: "Chaand Taare todh laoon….Saari Duniya par main chhaoon. Aaj india aur #ISRO chhaa gaya. Congratulations to all the scientists and engineers…the whole team which has made India so proud. Chandrayaan-3 has successfully soft-landed on the moon. #Chandrayaan3."

With the Lander achieving a soft landing on the moon's south pole, India has become the only country to do so. Previously, only three other countries have managed to conduct a lunar soft-landing.
Only three other countries have conducted a lunar soft-landing in history, namely United States, China and Russia.
