IPL 2023: Venkatesh Iyer shared pictures on Instagram after meeting superstar Rajinikanth.
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) had a fruitful visit to Chennai as the franchise managed to defeat the juggernaut of Chennai Super Kings (CSK). The Nitish Rana-led side defeated CSK by six wickets at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in IPL 2023 on Sunday. After the win, two of KKR stars -- Venkatesh Iyer and Varun Chakravarthy met superstar Rajinikanth.
Venkatesh Iyer shared pictures on Instagram and said that Rajinikanth "shaped" his dreams "as a child".
"Thalaivar Dharisanam. 15th May, 2023 - etched in my heart and memories forever . Finally met @rajinikanth sir who shaped all my dreams as a child. What a surreal experience. Talking to him felt like we’ve known each other for years. Until next time, hopefully," Venkatesh Iyer wrote on Instagram.

Varun Chakravarthy also shared pictures on Instagram and wrote: "You can see a million stars in the night sky daily. But seeing this Super Star is a once in a lifetime occurrence.Yes!!! KKR are currently at the seventh place in the points table and it is unlikely that the Nitish Rana-led side would make it to the playoffs. The franchise needs to win their last game and then hope for other results to go their way.
Talking about Rajinikanth, he was last seen in 2021 release 'Annatthe'. The actor is currently shooting for action-comedy 'Jailer', which is being directed by Nelson.
'Jailer' is slated to release in the theatres on August 10 this year.
