'Adipurush' makers have dropped a big update!

Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan and Sunny Singh-starrer 'Adipurush' will be releasing in the theatres on June 16 and ahead of the release, the makers have dropped a big update. It has been announced that the makers of 'Adipurush' would be dedicating one seat in every theatre around the world to Lord Hanuman. The particular seat would remain unsold during every screening of the new Hindi movie.

“Lord Hanuman appears wherever the Ramayana is recited. It is our belief. Respecting this belief, every theatre screening Prabhas’ Rama-starrer Adipurush will reserve one seat for Lord Hanuman without selling it. Hear the history of paying respects to the greatest devotee of Rama," the makers said in an official statement.

"We started this great work in an unknown way. We all must see the Adipurusha built with great grandeur and grandeur in the presence of Lord Hanuman," it added.

The new Hindi movie has been directed by Om Raut, and it is based on the epic Ramayana, in which Prabhas stars as Lord Rama while Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan are playing the roles of Sita and Lankesh (Raavan).

Earlier, the makers of 'Adipurush' had officially confirmed that the new Hindi movie would be having its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on June 13.

The 'Adipurush' teaser came out last year, however, it did not meet expectations as the netizens slammed the makers for questionable VFX effects.

‘Adipurush’ had earlier courted controversy, including boycott calls, when many objected to the depiction of Hindu deities and inferior quality of visual effects in the teaser of the film launched in October.

The magnum opus, slated to hit the theatres in IMAX and 3D, will release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
