"Check Your Facts": Athiya Shetty Slams Reports Of Her Visiting Strip Club With KL Rahul
Athiya Shetty released a statement, slamming reports that claimed she went to a strip club with husband and cricketer KL Rahul.
Actress Athiya Shetty has come out with a statement, slamming reports which stated she went to a strip club with cricketer and husband KL Rahul in London. For the unversed, the matter surfaced after the actress posted a bunch of photos from her vacation in London. Immediately, the photos went viral, and many users on the internet claimed that the couple went to a strip club.
Athiya Shetty posted a statement on her Instagram story, which read: "I usually choose to be silent and not react, but sometimes it is important to stand up for yourself. Rahul, I and our friends went out to a regular place as one does.”
“Stop taking things out of context, and check your facts before reporting. Peace and love," she added.
Earlier, a video had went viral which showed KL Rahul standing at a club. In the video, some exotic dancers can also be seen.

KL Rahul is currently out of action after suffering an injury during the ongoing IPL 2023. The cricketer recently underwent a surgery as well, and has been ruled out of the upcoming World Test Championship (WTC) final.
Earlier this year, KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty got married at Suniel Shetty's Khandala farmhouse.
Athiya Shetty had made her acting debut in 2015 with 'Hero'. She has also appeared in movies like 'Mubarakan' starring Arjun Kapoor and Anil Kapoor.
She was last seen in 'Motichoor Chaknachoor', starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
