KL Rahul Gushes Over “Stunning Wife” Athiya Shetty’s Ramp Walk At India Couture Week, Suniel Shetty Calls Her “Desi Gigi”
Athiya Shetty looked stunning as she walked the ramp at India Couture Week 2023, wearing an intricately embroidered cream gown.
Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty recently turned heads when she walked the ramp as the showstopper for renowned fashion designer Anamika Khanna at India Couture Week 2023. Athiya Shetty stole hearts as she exuded grace and style in a cream gown. Several photos and videos from the event featuring Athiya Shetty have gone viral on the internet. While many in the audience were in awe of Athiya Shetty, her husband and Indian cricketer KL Rahul couldn’t contain his excitement and gushed over her stunning look on social media.
Taking to Instagram, KL Rahul shared a video of Athiya Shetty walking the ramp and captioned it, “My stunning wife,” along with a white heart emoji. Athiya responded to KL Rahul’s Instagram Story. She reposted the video on her Instagram and wrote, “My whole heart.”

Her father and actor Suniel Shetty also shared a clip of Athiya Shetty’s ramp walk and called her “our desi Gigi, Bella, Kendall”.
For the event, Athiya Shetty wore an embroidered cream gown with elegant long sleeves, jewellery and heels. She also opted for glamorous makeup and tied her hair into a bun. Taking to Instagram, Viral Bhayani shared a video of her walking the ramp.
Reacting to the video, a fan wrote, "She has a face of a model.”
Another one added, “She is perfect for a model.”

KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty exchanged vows on January 23 this year at her father Suniel Shetty's farmhouse in Khandala.
The duo was in a relationship for several years before they got married. After tying the knot, in a joint post, the couple wrote, "In your light, I learn how to love...' Today, with our most loved ones, we got married in the home that's given us immense joy and serenity. With a heart full of gratitude and love, we seek your blessings on this journey of togetherness."
Meanwhile, on the work front, Athiya Shetty was last seen in the 2019 film ‘Motichoor Chaknachoor’, co-starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The actress made her Bollywood debut opposite Sooraj Pancholi in 2015’s ‘Hero’.
