Here's a list of Bollywood and Hollywood movies that would be releasing in Indian theatres in June 2023.
June is a big month when it comes to releases from both Bollywood and Hollywood. Filmmakers like to capitalise during the mid-year period, and hence often you see big budgeted movies releasing in the month of June. 2023 is no different as it will see many releases. The likes of Vicky Kaushal, Kartik Aaryan and Prabhas are waiting to see how the response is to their movies.
Here is a list of movies releasing in theaters in India in June 2023:
'Spiderman: Across the Spider-Verse' -- June 1
The new Hollywood movie is a sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) and is set in a shared multiverse of alternate universes called the Spider-Verse. Shameik Moore voices Miles in the movie and in the film, he goes on an adventure with Gwen Stacy/ Spider-Woman across the multiverse where he meets a new team of Spider-People, known as the Spider-Society.
'Zara Hatke Zara Bachke' -- June 2
The new Hindi movie stars Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan in lead roles. The new Hindi movie will tell the story of how things take a turn when the duo decide to divorce each other and go their separate ways. 'Zara Hatke Zara Bachke' has been directed by Laxman Utekar. The film has been produced by Dinesh Vijan.
'Transformers: Rise of the Beasts' -- June 9
This would be the seventh film of the franchise and the latest installment will introduce a new set of human characters and a few old robots will also be returning. The movie stars Anthony Ramos in the lead role alongside Dominique Fishback. 'Transformers Rise of the Beasts' is a follow-up to 'Bumblebee' which came out in 2018 and that movie starred Hailee Steinfeld and John Cena.
'The Flash' -- June 15
The cast includes Ezra Miler, Kiersey Clemons, Saoirse-Monica Jackson, Antje Traue and Maribel Verdu. 'The Flash' has been directed by Andy Muschietti, who is best known for helming 2017's 'It' and its sequel. Ezra Miller had first appeared in a DC film in a cameo role in 2016's 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' and he has now finally gotten his solo movie.
'Adipurush' -- June 16
The new Hindi movie has been directed by Om Raut, and it is based on the epic Ramayana, in which Prabhas stars as Lord Rama while Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan are playing the roles of Sita and Lankesh (Raavan). The magnum opus, slated to hit the theatres in IMAX and 3D, will release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
'Satyaprem Ki Katha' -- June 29
The new Hindi movie stars Kiara Advani and Kartik Aaryan in lead roles. The star cast for the movie also includes Supriya Pathak Kapur, Gajraj Rao, Siddharth Randheria, Anooradha Patel, Rajpal Yadav, Nirrmite Saawaant, and Shikha Talsania. The movie is being touted as the "musical romance of the year."
