Baahubali's Katappa Aka Sathyaraj Joins Salman Khan's 'Sikandar'
Sathyaraj who is known for playing the role of Katappa in 'Baahubali' franchise, has been roped in to play a key character in Salman Khan's 'Sikandar'
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is all set to make a roaring comeback with 'Sikandar' next year. The 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' actor has had a tough time of late when it comes to the box office as his previous few films such as 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' and 'Tiger 3' underperformed at the box office. In the latest entertainment news, the makers of 'Sikandar' on Thursday announced that 'Baahubali' actor Sathyaraj, who played the role of Katappa in the SS Rajamouli-directorial, has been roped in to play a key role in the Hindi film.
Apart from Sathyaraj, the makers have also confirmed the casting of Prateik Babbar.

And we can't wait for everyone to experience this cinematic excellence on the big screens," the official social media handle of Nadiadwala Grandson wrote.

'Sikandar' is being directed by AR Murugadoss, while the film is being bankrolled by Sajid Nadiadwala. The movie is expected to release in cinemas on Eid 2025.
Apart from Salman Khan, 'Sikandar' also stars Rashmika Mandanna.
On Eid 2024, Salman Khan had announced ‘Sikandar’, which will be directed by AR Murugadoss. Revealing the film's title on Instagram, Salman Khan posted, “Iss Eid 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' aur 'Maidaan' ko dekho aur agli Eid Sikandar se aa kar milo. Wish u all Eid Mubarak.”
Salman Khan was last seen in the action thriller film ‘Tiger 3’, alongside Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi.
Coming back to Rashmika Mandanna, she made her Bollywood debut with ‘Goodbye’ in 2022. She subsequently starred in ‘Mission Majnu’ and ‘Animal’.
She will also be seen in ‘Chaava’ opposite Vicky Kaushal. The actress is gearing up for ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ opposite Allu Arjun. Both the films are currently slated to be released in cinemas on the same date ie December 6, 2024.
