Sunny Deol has once again cemented his place as the OG mass hero. His latest release 'Jaat' is doing wonders in the B and C centres, and the collection is boosted by the massive footfalls in single screens. The new Hindi movie, which also stars Randeep Hooda and Vineet Kumar Singh, has gone past the Rs 40 crore mark in four days. ‘Jaat’, which released in cinemas on April 10, earned Rs 14 crore on Sunday, the fourth day of its release, as per industry tracker Sacnilk.
‘Jaat’ registered its highest single day haul yet and the four-day collection now stands at Rs 40.25 crore. The film had opened to a collection of Rs 9.50 crore, and ‘Jaat’ followed it up with earnings of Rs 7 crore and Rs 9.75 crore on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
On Sunday, ‘Jaat’ had an overall 26.23 per cent occupancy in the Hindi language. ‘Jaat’ is now Sunny Deol's fourth-highest earner at the box office. The collection of 'Jaat' has already gone past Sunny Deol's films like 'Border' and 'Yamla Pagla Deewana 2'.
The new Hindi film has been directed by Gopichand Malineni and also stars Regina Cassandra, Saiyami Kher and Ramya Krishnan.
Speaking of Salman Khan's 'Sikandar', which released in cinemas on the occasion of Eid 2025, continues to disappoint at the ticket counters. The film might have gone past the Rs 100 crore mark, but it has emerged as a colossal flop.
