Ayushmann Khurrana's Character Pooja Talks To 'Pathaan', Reveals Release Date Of 'Dream Girl 2'
Here's when 'Dream Girl 2' will release in theatres!
Ayushmann Khurrana on Monday unveiled the release date of his upcoming movie 'Dream Girl 2'. Released on the eve of Valentine's Day, the makers also dropped fresh footage, which showcased Ayushmann dressed up as a girl. The movie is all set to hit the theatres on July 7. Ayushmann's character 'Pooja' is also speaking in a girl's voice. The fresh footage starts off with a woman dressed in a blackless blouse and lehenga, sitting on the bed with her back to the camera.
Then the character gets a call from none other than 'Pathaan', who wishes her on Valentine's Day. She continues to speak to 'Pathaan' while doing her makeup as well.
In the footage, 'Pathaan' says: "jaldi meri Jawan aa aarahi hai. Tum kab aa rahi ho."
Then, the character reveals her plans are coming on July 7. 'Pathaan' then says "sachi", to which the character says: "smoochie."
Sharing the teaser on Instagram, Ayushmann Khurrana wrote: "BREAKING NEWS: @pooja___dreamgirl is back! #7KoSaathMein dekhenge! #DreamGirl2 releasing in cinemas on 7th July, 2023."

'Dream Girl 2' also stars Ananya Panday, Annu Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Manoj Joshi, Vijay Raaz, Seema Pahwa and Rajpal Yadav.
The movie has been directed by Raaj Shaandilya and it has been produced by Ektaa Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor.
The first 'Dream Girl' was released in 2019 and it starred Nushrratt Bharuccha with Ayushmann.
In the film, Ayushmann played a role of a hotline caller, who would change his voice into a girl's voice.
Earlier, while speaking about 'Dream Girl 2', Ayushmann had said: "I am super stoked about Dream Girl 2! This is my second outing with Balaji Motion Pictures and I am thankful to Ektaa that she has carried this franchise forward and made it bigger. I have found a friend in Raaj and it's exciting to team up with him again. Ananya Panday has been paired with me and I am looking forward to seeing the audience's reaction to our chemistry."
