‘Fighter’, starring Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor, has gone past the Rs 100 crore mark in just four days.

Siddharth Anand's latest directorial venture ‘Fighter’, starring Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor, has become the first Hindi film of 2024 to go past the Rs 100 crore mark at the domestic box office. The new Hindi movie achieved the feat on Sunday, which was the fourth day of its release. For the unversed, ‘Fighter’, co-starring Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi and Sanjeeda Shaikh, released in cinemas on Thursday (January 25), and it opened to favourable reviews from both critics and audiences.

As per early estimates posted by industry tracker Sacnilk, ‘Fighter’ minted Rs 28.50 crore on Sunday, and now the four-day total nett domestic collection stands at a whopping Rs 118 crore.

However, as per trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the new Hindi film has gone past the Rs 120 crore mark.

For the uninitiated, ‘Fighter’ had opened to a collection of Rs 24.60 crore, and on Republic Day, the film made more than Rs 40 crore.

‘Fighter’ has now become Hrithik Roshan's seventh film to go past the Rs 100 crore mark in India. ‘Fighter’ is Deepika Padukone's third consecutive film to go past the Rs 100 crore mark after ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Jawan’.

The new Hindi movie is also Anil Kapoor's second consecutive movie to go past the Rs 100 crore mark after ‘Animal’.

Now, it remains to be seen how much ‘Fighter’ ends up making on Monday. ‘Fighter’ needs to pass the crucial Monday test, if it wants to go past the Rs 300 crore mark in India.

Worldwide, ‘Fighter’ is nearing the Rs 200 crore mark and it is impressive, considering the film was earlier banned in Gulf countries except the UAE.

The Siddharth Anand directorial has recorded respectable advance ticket sales for the fifth day of its release (Monday, January 29). As per Sacnilk, 'Fighter' has sold 94,715 tickets for Day 5, grossing Rs 1.75 crore.

‘Fighter’, presented by Viacom18 Studios in association with Marflix Pictures, is the third collaboration between Hrithik Roshan and Siddharth Anand after ‘Bang Bang’ and ‘War’. The new Hindi movie is also the third collaboration between Deepika Padukone and Siddharth Anand after ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ and ‘Pathaan’.

Earlier, Siddharth Anand admitted that the success of ‘Pathaan’, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham, has set the bar too high for him and he is indeed feeling the “pressure of the expectations” from his audience.
