Siddharth Anand's 'Fighter', starring Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor in leading roles, continues to set the box office on fire. After opening to a collection of Rs 24.60 crore on Thursday, the film collected more than Rs 40 crore on the second day of its release, and in the latest entertainment news, the new Hindi film has carried on with the momentum on the third day of its release so far.
While, the collection of Day 3 is less than Day 2, however, Saturday's collection is more than what 'Fighter' made on the opening day.

Worldwide, 'Fighter' has gone past the Rs 130 crore mark and it is impressive, considering the film was earlier banned in Gulf countries except the UAE.
The film will surely be going past the Rs 100 crore mark in India on Sunday. It is looking like that 'Fighter' will register a domestic opening weekend of almost Rs 120-135 crore.
The Siddharth Anand-directorial has recorded respectable advance ticket sales for the fourth day of its release as well. As per Sacnilk, 'Fighter' has sold 3,29,272 tickets for Day 4, grossing Rs 10.02 crore.
For the uninitiated, 'Fighter' which was released in cinemas on Thursday, opened to favourable reviews from both critics and audiences.
‘Fighter’, presented by Viacom18 Studios in association with Marflix Pictures, is the third collaboration between Hrithik Roshan and Siddharth Anand after ‘Bang Bang’ and ‘War’. The new Hindi movie is also the third collaboration between Deepika Padukone and Siddharth Anand after ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ and ‘Pathaan’.
Apart from Hrithik, Deepika, and Anil Kapoor, 'Fighter' also stars Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi, Sanjeeda Sheikh and Rishabh Sawhney.
Earlier, Siddharth Anand admitted that the success of ‘Pathaan’, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham, has set the bar too high for him and he is indeed feeling the “pressure of the expectations” from his audience.
Hrithik Roshan's 'Vikram Vedha' had a lifetime collection of around Rs 80 crore, and 'Fighter' will fly past this amount by the end of the opening weekend.
