List Of Records Broken By Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan' After "Beyond Historic" Opening
'Jawan', starring SRK, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi, collected more than Rs 250 crore in just the Hindi version in its extended opening weekend.
'Jawan', starring Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi, released in theatres on September 11, and the new Hindi movie directed by Atlee opened to favourable reviews. The latest Indian movie which also features cameos by Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt, has turned out to be a money-spinner for Red Chillies Entertainment after the SRK-starrer witnessed a "beyond historic" opening in its extended first weekend.
In just the Hindi version, 'Jawan' collected more than Rs 250 crore in just four days, as per trade analyst Taran Adarsh. The new Hindi movie collected Rs 71.63 crore in the Hindi version on Sunday, and this is now the highest single day collection for any Hindi film.

"#Jawan [#Tamil + #Telugu] Thu 9.50 cr, Fri 7 cr, Sat 9.11 cr, Sun 8.47 cr. Total: ₹ 34.08 cr. OUTSTANDING," he added.
Worldwide, 'Jawan' has crossed the Rs 500 crore mark in just four days. As per industry tracker Sacnilk, 'Jawan' has amassed approximately Rs 530 crore worldwide. Earlier, SRK's 'Pathaan' had taken five days to cross the Rs 500 crore mark.

Talking about 'Jawan', the movie has been directed by Atlee, and it has been produced by Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma under Red Chillies Entertainment. It also features Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover, Priyamani, Ridhi Dogra, Ashlesha Thakur, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Girija Oak, Lehar Khan and Aaliyah Qureishi. The new movie also stars Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt in cameo appearances.
Billed as a high-octane thriller, ‘Jawan’ follows the story of a man set out to correct the wrongs of society.
The film also touches upon issues like government apathy, corruption, farmers suicide, a healthcare system in shambles, faulty army weapons, and dangerous factories set near residential areas.
